Success!
I was just notified by the Veterans Administration that my application for a veterans monument for Daniel Hunt of Bath NH has been approved! The stone will be delivered to the monument company across the river in VT in 45 - 60 days. The monument will be set shortly after that in the West Bath Cemetery. Daniel's monument will be placed near the headstone of his brother Zebulon, who was also a Revolutionary War Vet. Zebulon is also one of my Revolutionary War ancestors. Daniel died in 1837, so he has been waiting almost 200 years for his monument. I am very excited!
