Hundreds are Subdivisions of Counties in Delaware 

The counties of Delaware were originally divided into Hundreds. These were taxing districts and were also used in census records into the 19th century. This page houses reports on all of the Revolutionary War veterans organized by which hundred in which they lived in the the Revolutionary War era. Since most Delaware Revolutionary veterans do not have known gravesites, it is hoped that memorial plaques or monuments may be placed in each of the hundreds to recognize the patriots from that hundred.
