About Me

My name is Brian Hunt. I have a BA in History from Brown University, an MA in Social Sciences from Wesleyan University, and a certificate in Cartography and GIS from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. I am a descendant of 6 Revolutionary War soldiers and a member of The Sons of the American Revolution. I also am a graduate of the Professional Genealogy Study Group 54. In the course of my research, I have discovered that many Revolutionary War veterans do not have known grave locations or recognition on local monuments. I call these veterans Forgotten Patriots. I hope this site will spread the word about some of these soldiers so they can get the attention they deserve.
